VinFast to expand facility for electric two-wheelers, buses in Tamil Nadu
VinFast will invest an additional $500 million to expand its Thoothukudi facility in Tamil Nadu for electric bus and e-scooter production. Under a new MoU, the state will allocate 500 acres in Sipcot Industrial Park and provide incentives, permits, and infrastructure support. This expansion marks VinFast’s continued commitment to growing its electric mobility portfolio in India.
