Vietnam expands cooperation with India's Tamil Nadu

Vietnam is seeking more investment from Tamil Nadu businesses in electronics, semiconductors, IT, AI, clean energy and pharmaceuticals, during Ambassador Trinh Minh Manh's 20–22 September visit. He met the Industries department, CII and FICCI, urging a shift from introductions to concrete projects. Vietnamese officials also pushed for direct maritime links between Chennai, Thoothukudi and Vietnamese ports; VinFast's Thoothukudi project was cited as a notable example of ties.
