Vadhvan port construction to begin after 2 months; land acquisition to cost ₹2,000 crore: JNPA chief

Construction of India’s largest greenfield Vadhvan Port in Maharashtra is set to begin in about two months, following land acquisition across 24 villages at an estimated cost of ₹2,000 crore. JNPA Chairperson Gaurav Dayal confirmed that major contracts are in place and preliminary surveys completed, paving the way for the ₹76,220-crore multi-component port project.
