US to invest $1.5 bn in energy security, LNG infrastructure in India & SE Asia to catalyse exports

The US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), partnering with I Squared Capital, will invest USD 1.5 billion — its largest-ever single project investment — to develop energy security infrastructure across the Indo-Pacific, focusing on India and Southeast Asia. The USD 3 billion platform targets LNG infrastructure, strengthening US allies' energy security while expanding American hydrocarbon, equipment, and service exports to the region.
