UPC Volt to set up ₹5,000 cr AI data centre powered by 100 MW renewable energy

UPC Volt, a JV between Netherlands-based UPC Renewables Group and VOLT Data Centers, will invest ₹5,000 crore to build a 100 MW AI-ready data centre in Bharat Future City, Hyderabad. Powered entirely by renewable energy under Telangana’s Green Open Access framework, the project is expected to generate 800 direct and indirect jobs, officials announced at WEF 2026 in Davos.
