Transformers and Rectifiers to invest ₹1,250 cr for 3 manufacturing plants in Gujarat

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited will invest ₹1,250 crore in three greenfield plants at its Chiyada complex in Gujarat, announced on October 27. The plants will make transformer components including bushings, pressboard insulation and continuously transposed conductors, under a wholly owned subsidiary. The company expects over 1,000 direct jobs and about ₹2,000 crore in annual revenue at full capacity, with commercial operations targeted for the first quarter of FY2027-28.
