TNIFMC invests ₹20 cr in semiconductor startup Aheesa

Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Fund Management Corporation has invested ₹20 crore in Aheesa Digital Innovations Pvt. Ltd. through TNESSF. The funding will support commercialisation of its RISC-V-based networking chip, VIHAAN-I. The move strengthens Tamil Nadu’s semiconductor ecosystem and promotes indigenous chip development amid rising demand for telecom and broadband infrastructure.
