Textiles Ministry approves 17 new applicants in third round of selection under PLI scheme

The Textiles Ministry has approved 17 new applicants under the third round of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme, committing ₹2,374 crore in investments. The projects are expected to generate over 22,600 jobs and achieve projected sales of ₹12,893 crore, further boosting India’s MMF and technical textiles manufacturing capacity. A total of 74 applicants have now been approved under the scheme.
