Tata Power Renewable Energy commissions 198 MW wind energy project in Karur
Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd has commissioned a 198 MW wind power project in Karur, Tamil Nadu, taking its total renewable capacity to 11.6 GW. Developed under the Group Captive model to supply Tata Steel, the project will generate 31 million units of clean energy annually and offset over 26,000 tonnes of CO₂, strengthening the Group’s green energy footprint.
