Tata Chemicals to set up ₹515 crore manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu

Tata Chemicals has approved a ₹515 crore greenfield manufacturing facility at Valinokkam, Tamil Nadu, to produce Iodised Vacuum Salt Dried (IVSD) with an annual capacity of 210 KTPA. The project, expected to be completed within 36 months, will be funded through internal accruals and/or external financing, strengthening the company’s presence in India’s salt production sector
