Tamil Nadu to Set Up ₹3,200 Crore SIPCOT Industrial Parks in Backward Districts

Tamil Nadu plans to invest ₹3,200 crore over the next five years to establish world-class SIPCOT Industrial Parks in backward districts, aiming to boost regional industrialisation, attract investments and create employment. The State has also announced an aerospace manufacturing hub in Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli, an AI and Innovation City, and a new Industrial Policy to strengthen infrastructure, skills, manufacturing and ease of doing business.
