Tamil Nadu signs Rs 18,600 crore MoU with Larsen & Toubro for data centre, shipbuilding projects
Tamil Nadu has signed an MoU with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for investments worth ₹18,600 crore across data centre expansion, electronics manufacturing, and shipbuilding projects. The initiatives in Kancheepuram, Coimbatore, and Kattupalli are expected to create around 8,200 jobs, strengthen industrial infrastructure, boost digital capabilities, and support the state's vision of becoming a $1.5 trillion economy by 2036.
