Tamil Nadu eyes bigger share of ₹3-lakh crore defence opportunity, invites industry to partner
Tamil Nadu is accelerating its ambition to become a leading defence and aerospace manufacturing hub, inviting industries, startups, and MSMEs to capitalize on India's projected ₹3-lakh crore defence production opportunity by 2029. Backed by Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation, the State is expanding infrastructure, testing facilities, and funding support while collaborating with the Ministry of Defence, DRDO, ISRO, and industry to strengthen indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities.
