Tamil Nadu and IN-SPACe partner for a testing facility in Thoothukudi
Tamil Nadu has partnered with IN-SPACe to establish a Common Technology Facility for space vehicle testing and manufacturing in Thoothukudi. The facility, planned within the upcoming Space Industrial Park at Allikulam, will support production of launch vehicle components, satellite systems, propulsion units, and aerospace electronics. IN-SPACe will provide equipment worth ₹100 crore, while the state will offer land and infrastructure, strengthening Tamil Nadu’s emerging space and advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
