Starbucks is preparing its first standalone corporate office in India, focused on technology, engineering and cloud/digital platform roles, expected to launch in FY27 (from October 2026). The move comes amid a global restructuring under CEO Brian Niccol aimed at major cost savings, even as the company builds up in-house engineering capacity in one of its fastest-growing talent markets.
