Semiconductor and electronics park to come up in Kanchipuram at an investment of ₹175 crore: TN CM

Tamil Nadu plans to establish a ₹175-crore Semiconductor & Electronics Manufacturing Park in Kanchipuram through SIPCOT. The facility will include world-class R&D infrastructure to support new semiconductor manufacturing units and strengthen the State’s electronics ecosystem. The park is expected to attract investments of up to ₹2,000 crore and generate around 5,000 direct and indirect jobs, further boosting Tamil Nadu’s position as a semiconductor manufacturing hub.
