SCCL gets green nod for Ramagundam Coal Mine project

Singareni Collieries Company Limited has received in-principle environmental clearance for the ₹2,194 crore Ramagundam Coal Mine project in Telangana. The integrated mining project will be executed with an estimated output of 210 lakh tonnes annually and is expected to generate over 5,000 company jobs and 600 contract positions. Designed to extend the region’s mining life by 25 years, the project will supply coal mainly to NTPC Limited and nearby industries.
