RIR Electronics plans a ₹618 crore investment to establish a silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductor facility in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Supported by the state government, the two-phase project aims for completion by 2027 and will focus on producing high-voltage SiC wafers and devices, strengthening India’s advanced semiconductor manufacturing capabilities.
