Reliance Consumer Products will invest ₹1,156 crore to set up a 60-acre integrated FMCG manufacturing facility at SIPCOT Allikulam, Thoothukudi, creating 2,000 jobs in five years. In addition, Cochin Shipyard and Mazagon Dock will invest ₹30,000 crore to build greenfield shipyards in Tamil Nadu, generating 55,000 jobs, reinforcing the state’s rise as a major industrial and maritime hub.
