Premier Energies commissions 7 GW solar cell plant in Andhra Pradesh
Premier Energies has commissioned a 7 GW N-type TOPCon solar cell plant at Naidupeta in Andhra Pradesh, lifting its total cell capacity to 10.6 GW. Built on 101 acres at a cost of ₹3,293 crore, the facility can produce about 88,000 cells an hour, with trial runs under way. The company is targeting roughly 25.8 per cent cell efficiency after ramp-up and describes it as India's largest cell plant.
