Premier Energies commissions 400 MW solar cell facility in Telangana

Premier Energies has commissioned a 400 MW solar cell manufacturing facility in Telangana, as part of its Rs 11,000-crore expansion plan. The move increases its solar cell capacity to 3.6 GW and aims to more than double module output by 2028. The company plans to enter ingot and wafer production to strengthen domestic solar manufacturing and reduce import dependence.
