PM Modi to flag of Suzuki’s 1st global battery EV from Gujarat plant
Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off Suzuki’s first global EV, the Made-in-India ‘e-Vitara’, from Gujarat for exports to over 100 countries. He also inaugurated hybrid battery electrode production at the TDS Lithium-Ion Battery plant, boosting domestic value addition. Alongside, he launched ₹5,400 crore worth of railway and power projects in Gujarat.
