Orient Green Power Opens 17.6 MW Solar Plant In Tamil Nadu, Finishing Solar Expansion Plans
Orient Green Power has commissioned a 17.6 MW AC solar project in the Chetpet and Vandavasi taluks of Thiruvannamalai district, Tamil Nadu, through its subsidiary Delta Renewable Energy. The plant, built on an EPC basis with Remon Solutions, lifts the company's solar capacity to 24.6 MW AC and completes commitments made in its 2024 rights issue. It also helps balance earnings from the company's wind-dominated portfolio.
