ONGC to infuse ₹1 lakh crore for deepwater exploration: Chairman

ONGC plans to invest ₹1 lakh crore by 2030 to accelerate deepwater and ultradeepwater exploration, Chairman and CEO Arun Kumar Singh said. The investment aims to expand India’s domestic oil and gas exploration capabilities and tap into challenging offshore reserves. The move is expected to strengthen energy security, boost domestic hydrocarbon production and support ONGC’s long-term strategy of developing India’s deepwater resources.
