Odisha advances ₹39,383 crore investment across 53 projects

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated facilities and laid foundation stones for 53 industrial projects across 14 districts on 14 October 2026 at Kalinganagar, Jajpur. Worth ₹39,383 crore, the projects target 42,512 jobs across 46 industries, led by steel and downstream manufacturing, including Jindal Ferrous (₹14,039 crore) and Tata Steel. Others span textiles, renewables, food processing, IT, logistics and tourism.
