NTPC scopes 30 sites in fresh bid for nuclear expansion
NTPC Ltd. is evaluating 30 potential sites across five to six states, including Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Odisha, for new nuclear power projects. The move supports India’s goal of 100 GW nuclear capacity by 2047. Site selection is expected by mid-2026, paving the way for global tenders and collaboration with international suppliers like EDF and Rosatom.
