NLC India signs MoU with CSIR-CECRI Karaikudi for critical mineral studies
NLC India Ltd (NLCIL) signed an MoU with CSIR-CECRI, Karaikudi, to collaborate on critical and strategic mineral beneficiation and extraction technologies. Detailed studies will assess overburden materials and tailings from NLCIL's Neyveli Mines for Rare Earth Elements (REEs) and trace element recovery potential — with scope to extend similar exploration across other NLCIL mining and exploration projects nationwide.
