NLC India, IOCL ink pact to develop large-scale renewable energy projects in Tamil Nadu
State-run NLC India Limited and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to form a joint venture for developing large-scale renewable energy projects in Tamil Nadu. The partnership will focus on solar, wind, hybrid, battery storage and pumped hydro projects, strengthening India’s clean energy transition. The initiative aligns with sustainable development goals and aims to enhance green power capacity and energy security in the state.
