Merck channels over ₹140 crore into Bengaluru manufacturing site expansion

Merck has expanded its life sciences manufacturing site in Jigani, Bengaluru, with an investment of about €13 million (~Rs 140 crore), adding biological buffer production to its existing chemistry capabilities. The move strengthens local supply for research, diagnostics and biopharma customers across India and Asia-Pacific, reducing import dependence and reinforcing Merck's "Make in India" commitments.
