MeitY clears 29 ECMS proposals worth Rs 7,104 crore

India’s Ministry of Electronics and IT has approved 29 proposals under the Electronic Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) with an investment of ₹7,104 crore. Major players like Foxconn, TDK subsidiaries, Dixon, Syrma SGS, and NeST Group are included. The initiative is expected to drive ₹84,515 crore in production and generate over 14,000 jobs, strengthening India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
