Maruti Suzuki Board approves ₹4,960 cr land acquisition for new plant in Gujarat

Maruti Suzuki India’s board has approved a ₹4,960 crore investment to acquire land at Khoraj Industrial Estate, Gujarat, for expanding manufacturing capacity by up to one million vehicles annually. The expansion will be funded through internal accruals and borrowings, supporting rising domestic and export demand. The company will finalise phased installation plans in due course.
