Japan’s JFE Engineering to buy 25% stake in Antony Waste Handling's Andhra waste-to-energy projects
Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd has partnered with Japan’s JFE Engineering Corporation, which will acquire a 25% stake in Andhra Pradesh waste-to-energy projects. The collaboration will develop two plants in Kadapa and Kurnool, processing municipal waste to generate 30 MW power. The deal strengthens India–Japan cooperation in sustainable infrastructure and advanced waste-to-energy solutions.
