Jakson Group Plans ₹6,863-Crore Integrated Solar Manufacturing Facility in Kurnool

Jakson Group plans to invest ₹6,863 crore in an integrated solar manufacturing plant at Meedivemula village, Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh, on about 290 acres recommended by the State Investment Promotion Board. Built in three phases, it will make silicon ingots, wafers and cells, reaching 10 GW of ingot-wafer and 5 GW of cell capacity by 2030, and employ about 2,000 people, moving the group beyond module assembly.
