Israel looks to shift defence manufacturing to India as bilateral ties move beyond buyer–seller model
India and Israel are deepening defence ties beyond a buyer–seller model, with Israel exploring manufacturing of unmanned systems and other weapons in India under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative. A new MoU signed during the Joint Working Group meeting promotes joint development, co-production, and technology sharing, including AI and cyber capabilities, aiming to produce ‘Make in India, for the World’ defence products.
