India to surpass 1 billion 5G subscribers by 2031 as global coverage widens
India is set to surpass 1 billion 5G subscriptions by 2031, achieving 79% penetration, according to Ericsson’s Mobility Report 2025. By year-end, the country will record 394 million 5G users.
