India to manufacture 89.5 m windmill blades; first consignment arrives from China
VOC Port, Thoothukudi, handled a historic consignment of 45 windmill blades measuring 89.5 m—the longest ever at the port—for Shanghai-based Envision Energy. Initially imported from China, these blades will soon be manufactured at Envision’s upcoming Gujarat facility, marking a major step in India’s renewable energy manufacturing capabilities.
