India to build end-to-end critical mineral value chains: Economic Survey
India plans to build end-to-end critical mineral value chains covering exploration, mining, processing and recycling to reduce import dependence and strengthen supply security, the Economic Survey 2025–26 said. Rising global demand for lithium, copper and rare earths, driven by energy transition, electric mobility and advanced manufacturing, is accelerating the push for domestic capabilities.
