India pushes PNG expansion to 30 lakh connections amid West Asia crisis
Amid West Asia LPG supply disruptions, India is accelerating piped natural gas (PNG) expansion, targeting 30 lakh new connections across 150+ high-priority districts. The initiative, led by the Ministries of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing & Urban Affairs, aims to enhance urban energy access, ensure fuel security, and improve ease of living, mitigating reliance on imported LPG supplies.
