India launches first wind turbine supply chain management portal to boost domestic manufacturing, exports
The Government of India has launched the country’s first Wind Turbine Supply Chain Management (WT-MARUT) Portal to strengthen domestic manufacturing and boost exports in the wind energy sector. Unveiled by the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, the platform will improve supply chain visibility, ensure compliance with domestic sourcing norms, and enhance collaboration across manufacturers. The initiative supports India’s clean energy goals amid record wind capacity additions and rising global export potential.
