India evolving into one of the world's leading aerospace nations, says ISRO chairman
India is rapidly emerging as a global aerospace leader, said ISRO Chairman V Narayanan at SRMIST's 21st Convocation. Highlighting India's journey from humble beginnings to advanced space technology, he reaffirmed ISRO's goal of landing astronauts on the Moon by 2047. The ceremony conferred 9,769 degrees, celebrated academic excellence, and honoured scientific contributions with honorary doctorates.
