India and Belgium sign defence agreements to boost industrial and military ties

India and Belgium have signed multiple defence agreements to strengthen military and industrial cooperation, covering rockets, small arms, weapon systems and counter-drone technologies. Thales Belgium, Thales India and Kalyani Strategic Systems will collaborate on assembling 70 mm rockets in India, targeting full domestic production by next year. The partnerships also include cooperation with FN Herstal, supporting technology development, manufacturing capabilities and deeper India-Belgium defence ties.
