Gujarat to unveil first data centre policy to attract AI and cloud investments

Gujarat is set to launch its first Data Centre Policy 2026-29 to attract investments in hyperscale data centres, cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven digital services. The policy aims to strengthen the state’s digital ecosystem by leveraging its power availability, connectivity, and renewable energy capabilities. It will support Gujarat’s broader technology ambitions across AI, semiconductors, Global Capability Centres, and fintech while positioning the state as a major digital infrastructure hub.
