Government finalising RFP for inviting bids under Rare Earth Magnet Scheme: H D Kumaraswamy
The government is in the final stages of preparing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to invite bids under the Rare Earth Magnet Scheme, Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy said. The initiative aims to boost domestic manufacturing of critical magnets, reduce import dependence, and strengthen India’s supply chain for key sectors including EVs, renewable energy, and electronics.
