Godrej bets ₹350 crore on warehouse, forklift plant to tap quick-commerce boom

Godrej Enterprises Group is investing ₹350 crore to scale its material handling business from ₹1,000 crore to ₹1,500–2,000 crore over two years. A new greenfield facility at Khalapur near Mumbai — with initial capacity of 15,000 forklifts annually, expandable to 30,000 units — targets surging demand from quick-commerce players including Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Flipkart, and Amazon.
