Genrobotics to Invest Rs 150 Crore in Tamil Nadu to Set Up Robotics Hub

Kerala-based robotics company Genrobotics plans to invest ₹150 crore in Tamil Nadu over five years to establish a high-end robotics manufacturing and export hub in Chennai. The facility will produce advanced platforms including Bandicoot, water and sanitation inspection robots, and Wilboar for markets across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The investment will also support Genrobotics’ expansion into healthcare, industrial, defence and aerospace robotics, strengthening Tamil Nadu’s emerging deep-tech manufacturing ecosystem.
