Gautam Solar to set up 5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh
Gautam Solar will invest ₹4,000 crore to set up a 5 GW TOPCon solar cell plant on 54 acres in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Phase 1, with 2 GW capacity, is underway and targeted for completion by 2026. The company plans an IPO to fund Phase 2 and aims to expand into solar wafer manufacturing, strengthening India’s domestic renewable energy ecosystem.
