Fujifilm to invest Rs 800 cr in semiconductor materials manufacturing facility in India

Fujifilm will invest about Rs 800 crore (~$83 million) to build a greenfield semiconductor materials facility in India, aligned with the India Semiconductor Mission 2.0. Rolled out in two phases from October 2026, Phase 1 covers front-end process chemicals, with commercial production targeted for FY28; Phase 2 will add surface conditioning materials and high-purity chemicals as demand grows.
