Expanding GCCs bring in more value vs new entrants
India's GCC ecosystem — now comprising 2,117 centres generating USD 98.4 billion in revenue — is witnessing a structural shift where expanding brownfield GCCs deliver greater strategic value than new entrants. Existing centres are moving beyond cost optimisation into AI, product engineering, and IP-led capability creation, while new greenfield setups increasingly launch with engineering and product development mandates from inception.
