Essar Power, Arham get nod for setting up 2 SEZs in Gujarat with ₹27,600 crore export potential

Essar Power Ltd and Arham SEZ (I) Pvt Ltd have received in-principle approval to establish two Special Economic Zones in Gujarat’s Devbhumi Dwarka and Kutch districts. The projects are expected to generate over ₹27,600 crore in exports and nearly 10,000 jobs over five years. Essar Power’s SEZ alone will involve an initial investment of ₹50 crore and projected exports of ₹17,629 crore, strengthening Gujarat’s position as a key export-driven industrial hub.
