DLI scheme for semiconductor start-ups delivers chip tape-outs, patents and chip fabrications

India’s Design Linked Incentive (DLI) Scheme is accelerating the growth of semiconductor start-ups, delivering 16 chip tape-outs, six ASIC fabrications, 10 patents, and over 140 reusable IP cores. Supporting end-to-end chip design and training 1,000+ engineers, the scheme aims to transition start-ups from design validation to productisation, strengthening India’s self-reliant and globally competitive chip design ecosystem.
